Impressions:
This is going to sound weird, but though I'd heard of this movie before, it wasn't until I saw the Irresponsible Captain Tylor OAV that it stuck in my head and when the opportunity to see it presented itself, I took it and I'm glad I did. This is a really nice, charming movie with good characters and fine performances to deliver them. This was early in Audrey Hepburn's career, but    her acting chops are solid and she's able to hold her own opposite the well-established Gregory Peck. While these two dominate the movie, I'll also give credit to Eddie Albert in his supporting role as the photographer Irving Radovich. Though I haven't been to Rome, I have lived in Italy for a while, so there was a little bit of personal resonance with the setting. This really is one of the great in cinema history and you owe it to yourself to give it a watch.
