Synopsis:
When she returns from Paris, the daughter of a chauffeur catches the attention of both sons of the wealthy Larrabee family.
Impressions:
Just one year after Audrey Hepburn made her big splash in Roman Holiday, she has another major role that helped define her career. I don't now if there was much demand for pairing her with Humphrey Bogart, but it's interesting seeing them play off each other. I suppose as a matter of necessity, William Holden's character is sidelined for the entire second act, but it might have been interesting to see more active jockeying between the two brothers. It isn't a love story with overwhelming passion or anything, but it's a nice, low-key affair that's worth giving a watch.
