Synopsis:
A junior employee at an insurance firm lets the executives use his apartment for their trysts in exchange for being fast-tracked for advancement in the company, but when he falls for the boss's mistress, he has to make a decision.
Impressions:
This really is a wonderful movie. It starts with comedy, dips into drama and ends on a charmingly poignant note. Jack Lemmon's character has a good arc and his interactions with Shirley MacLaine are quite good. Fred MacMurray is an amazing dirtbag. I also liked Jack Kruschen as Dr. Dreyfuss, the film's moral center. The emotional lows hit pretty hard, but the ride is worth it in the end. Definitely give this one a watch.
