Impressions:
Hey, did you like Men in Black? Yeah, me too. Guess what. This is the same dang movie. Just replace aliens with the restless dead. Though not a great movie by any stretch, I did find it watchable. Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges make a good onscreen team and it's nice to see Bridges is getting extra mileage out of his take on Rooster Cogburn. I also liked James Hong as Grandpa Chin and was rather amused at Jeff Bridges' performance relative to his avatar. Kevin Bacon is pretty good as Nick's treacherous partner too. Wasn't a big fan of the Deado designs, though. The movie isn't very highly regarded, but like I said, I found it watchable. You may enjoy it, you may not. Take it or leave it.
