Synopsis:
A former Union officer is hunted by a posse led by a man who will stop at nothing to capture him.
Impressions:
The basic setup is a manhunt and that alone is good with Pierce Brosnan and Liam Neeson both being incredibly driven, morally grey characters. Better still is how they slowly feed you little bits of the backstory until the big reveal. The third act, however, is more metaphorical than literal, which kinda messes with your head a little. You may like this extra layer and even if you don't, it's a solid film all the same. Give it a watch.
