Synopsis:
Out in the wastelands, a brutal bloodsport known as the game is played by roving athletes called Juggers. In a small village, a young girl joins a team led by a former champion in a bid to find fame and fortune.
Impressions:
Do you like dystopian post-apocalyptic stories? Do you like gladiatorial bloodsports? Do you like Rutger Hauer? If you answer yes to any of these, you might like this film. I like post-apoc fic, so I dug it. It's a rough, gritty world and while this movie definitely isn't some triple-A blockbuster, I think the low budget works for it. If you're not a fan of this kind of setting, then you probably won't have much reason to watch, so bear that in mind.
